Frustrated Paige Spiranac Issues 4-Word Urgent Plea to Jay Monahan & Co. Amid Merger Finalization

Dan Rapaport as he sought Paige Spiranac‘s opinion. Spiranac may have settled into a full-time content creator role, but she is still regarded as an expert on golf. The former LPGA Tour star’s opinions are deemed quite valuable by the community, even if they might go against the trend.
Being an internet personality, Spiranac doesn’t shy away from speaking her mind. No matter how controversial the topic may be, she always gives her honest outtake on the subject without hesitation. She also wasn’t afraid to agree with Jim Nantz and Brandel Chamblee as she called for banning “Aim Point” recently.
More recently, the golf creator has been given a few responsibilities by the PGA Tour. Spiranac briefly joined the team of analysts in the 2025 WM Phoenix Open a few weeks ago. She also joined the Creator Council, recently formed by the PGA Tour. So it wasn’t a surprise when Dan Rapaport questioned Paige Spiranac regarding PGA Tour matters.
We just need to stop talking about money”, said Spiranac as she criticized Jay Monahan & Co.’s approach to the situation. For anyone who isn’t aware, the PIF-PGA Tour merger has made Jay Monahan & Co. discuss the financial terms publically to explain the situation. They have been trying to convince their partners that they are expecting a $3 billion investment from the Public Investment Funds soon. She believes things changed when “Tiger Woods wasn’t playing week in, week out”. To her credit, the viewership has dropped significantly since he stepped away from full-time golf. But does just having Tiger Woods on the course change that equation? The content creator added, “He wasn’t just moving the needle. He was the needle”. We can agree with Spiranac here as TGL also gets a lot of viewers when Woods is playing in the arena.
