Idaho Cancer Center Receives Gold Standard Accreditation

The Idaho Cancer Center at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center has received the gold standard of accreditation.

It’s for radiation oncology and was awarded by the American College of Radiology. This is the second time EIRMC has received the accreditation. It is also the only cancer care provider in Idaho to get the designation.

The accreditation means EIRMC maintains and properly uses technologically advanced treatment methods, follows radiation safety protocols and provides correct dosing of radiation.
