Travis Kelce’s NFL legacy overshadowed by his relationship with Taylor Swift on TV show

We’ve reached the halfway point of the NFL season, and the Kansas City Chiefs (8-0) are the only undefeated team in the league. For Patrick Mahomes, it’s the best start in his eight years in the league, and for the franchise, it’s the third time in history they’ve gotten off to such a start. The previous two times (2003 and 2013), they went 9-0 before losing in their 10th game. The Chiefs’ quest for a third consecutive title is well underway as they aim to become the first franchise to achieve a three-peat.

But as the Chiefs and their players continue their quest for NFL immortality, their fame continues to grow – especially for Travis Kelce, who has gained even more celebrity status as Taylor Swift’s boyfriend. Given Swift’s massive popularity, it’s no surprise; after all, she’s wrapping up her record-breaking “Eras Tour,” which grossed over $1 billion. Recently, however, Kelce became the butt of a joke on the popular game show Jeopardy!

On the most recent episode, one of the questions was, “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” hosted by this guy who’s maybe more famous as a boyfriend than a 3-time Super Bowl champion. And without hesitation, the contestant answered correctly: “Travis Kelce.”
