Travis Kelce looked glum as he stepped out of the team hotel in Los Angeles

But it also marks the end of Kelce’s streak of consecutive seasons with over a thousand yards receiving.

His regular season ends with 93 catches for 984 yards and five touchdowns.

The last time the 34-year-old Kelce had less than 1,000 yards was his second year in the league, all the way back in 2015.

That marks seven straight years worth of 1,000+ yard seasons – the most among all tight ends in the league’s history.

At age 34, Kelce’s seasons of high production are likely to be fewer as he gets up there in age.

But this season has been particularly troublesome for the Kansas City offense – with Patrick Mahomes struggling to produce the same numbers that won him an MVP last season.

Kelce has also been occupied with his thoughts off the field – surrounding his newfound relationship with Taylor Swift.

She’ll be attending the Golden Globes tonight as her Eras Tour movie is nominated Cinematic and Box Office Achievement Award by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Travis Kelce’s streak of 1,000+ yards in a season is set to end today after being ruled out by the Kansas City Chiefs.
