Tom Brady may have finally hung up his cleats — but it seems he’s also ….see more

Remember when we thought Tom Brady would be somewhere in his mansion, probably binge-watching “Marriage Story” and drowning his sorrows in protein shakes after the whole Gisele situation? Well, plot twist: our man’s pulling a Ted Lasso—minus the mustache and the biscuits! Just when we thought TB12 was done surprising us (I mean, how many “final” retirements can one guy have?), he’s gone and pulled another rabbit out of his GOAT-worthy hat. Instead of throwing passes on Sunday nights, Brady was sending motivational messages across the pond to… wait for it… a soccer team. But guess even his motivation couldn’t lead this team to their 2nd win in this dominant season.
Yes, we are talking about Birmingham City, that hit Wembley Stadium harder than Walter White hit the meth business. Birmingham lost the EFL finale in true fashion against their rivals, Peterborough. Brady’s minority ownership team was coming off a strong season as they had just won the English Football League One championship and were in the lead over second-place Wrexham by 13 points. Right when everybody thought their favs would score their second win, a twist came and put a damper on everyone’s mood, including the seven-time SB winner himself. No one believed this loss would come when the BCFC crossed paths with Peterborough for the Vertu Trophy. As the team finished 16th in the AFL League One standings, with less than half the points that BCFC scored.
And now, Tom Brady’s heartfelt message for the team didn’t mean much. In the video shared earlier on the team’s IG handle, the team’s minority owner went with, “There is a moment in every player’s journey when everything, all the sacrifices, pain, and endless hours, comes down to one final opportunity. So, Blues, this is your time. You earned it. Now go make it count.” Anyone watching the video could see Brady was reflecting on his own seven Super Bowl wins, as he dropped some much-needed wisdom, “Winning a trophy is more than just a prize. It’s a culmination of a journey. This is your moment, so take it.” I mean, who better than Tom to understand the thrill of that winning journey? But hey, it all went to deaf ears, didn’t it?
So, how exactly did Peterborough win most pivotal matches? It was an energised start from the team as in the first half of the game, at the fifteenth minute, a free-kick from Harley Mills kept them in the lead. But the BCFC didn’t just give up so soon. They soon doubled down before the period was over, all thanks to their captain Hector Kyprianou. Everyone thought BCFC would take the lead and win the big game, as they were soon in the lead.
But ultimately, the BCFC fell short with their final score. Despite their outstanding performance and endless efforts, the two belters from Mills and Kyprianou made all the difference in the game. Now, the team might have lost their second straight win, but don’t you think for a minute that Brady is letting this slip? As the minority owner for the team, he will ultimately take the reins in his hands and do the damage control like he did with the Raiders. No matter what’s going on in Brady’s personal life, more so his ex’s love life, he is here to change his team’s fortunes.
