W nocy z sobotę na niedzielę polskiego czasu Julia Szeremeta wywalczyła srebrny medal Pucharu Świata w boksie w kategorii do 57 kg. Polka przegrała z reprezentantką gospodarzy – Jucielen Romeu.
“Z Brazylii wracam z srebrnym medalem Pucharu Świata! To kolejne cenne doświadczenie i motywacja do dalszej pracy. Dziękuję wszystkim którzy trzymają za mnie kciuki – nie zwalniamy tempa” – napisała Szeremeta w mediach społecznościowych.
Do wpisu wicemistrzyni olimpijska załączyła zdjęcie z podium, na którym prezentuje srebrny medal Pucharu Świata.
Szeremeta ujawniła też, że reprezentacja Polski wróciła już do kraju po zawodach w Brazylii. “Po 24-godzinnej podróży melduję się w domu” – napisała o 1:20 w nocy z poniedziałku na wtorek polskiego czasu na zdjęciu na Instastory (zobacz niżej).
W samym finale Szeremeta zaprezentowała się dobrej strony. Mimo zaciętej walki, sędziowie punktowi przyznali jednak zwycięstwo Brazylijce. Trzech sędziów punktowało na korzyść Romeu, dwóch widziało wygraną Polki (więcej o walce pisaliśmy TUTAJ).
