Sir David Beckham Joins Forces with The King’s Foundation for a Landmark Chelsea Flower Show Garden
In a collaboration that has delighted both royal watchers and horticulture enthusiasts, Sir David Beckham is set to co-create The King’s Foundation Garden for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026. Working alongside renowned horticulturist Frances Tophill, Beckham will help bring to life “The RHS and The King’s Foundation Curious Garden” — an immersive tribute to curiosity, nature, and the power of green spaces.
For Beckham, who has enjoyed gardening since childhood, this project marks a heartfelt return to roots that long predate his global fame. “Gardening has always been a place of calm and creativity for me,” he shared previously — and now, he hopes to inspire thousands to step outside, get their hands in the soil, and reconnect with the natural world.
The garden’s design aims to spark wonder and exploration, encouraging visitors of all ages to rediscover the small, magical details of nature. Working with Tophill — and with contributions from gardening legend Alan Titchmarsh — the project will also highlight the environmental value of cultivating more plants in our everyday spaces.
From boosting biodiversity, to supporting pollinators, to helping tackle the broader challenge of climate change, the display will emphasize how even small gardening efforts can have a meaningful impact on the planet.
The King’s Foundation, long committed to environmental education, sustainability, and preservation of traditional skills, sees the 2026 garden as an opportunity to bring these values to the world’s most prestigious gardening stage.
