Simone Biles reignites criticism of Ralph Lauren’s Olympic uniforms for Team US in new Netflix docuseries

The internet is buzzing, and Simone Biles is leading the charge, echoing what many fans have already expressed-Team USA’s Olympic outfits, designed by Ralph Lauren, have missed the mark again.

In the recently released Netflix docu-series Simone Biles Rising, both Biles and fellow gymnast Jordan Chiles voiced their discontent with the much-debated opening ceremony look, sparking a wave of reactions across social media.

In the series, Biles was caught in a candid moment while trying on the outfit, struggling to “see the vision” behind the ensemble. “It’s giving British boarding school,” Biles joked, faking an English accent and quipping, “Let me get on my horse!”

Chiles joined in on the fun, but it was clear both athletes were underwhelmed by the denim-and-blazer combo intended to channel a “timelessly American” aesthetic. Biles summed it up perfectly, saying, “You know when you put on an outfit, and it’s just really not it?”
