Glam golfer Paige Spiranac has announced the heartbreaking death of her beloved dog, Niko.

The 31-year-old blonde bombshell took to her Instagram Story on Wednesday evening to share a post that was quite different from the usual content that she has become famous for sharing on social media platforms such as TikTok and X. She posted an image of Niko, an Australian Cattle Dog mix, who she adopted back in 2017, according to a Facebook post.

Niko was so unbelievably lucky to have you and your family. My heart breaks for you all. The worst pain in the world,” penned TGL’s Samantha Marks – who posted some images she had of the canine companion.

Barstool Sports’ Kayce Smith said: “I’m so sorry, my love” with a crying face emoji, with fan @MrChadRico chiming in: “Oh that sucks so bad. I’m so sorry Paige.”

A second fan @TuNaCaN86925230 added: “Awwwww , never an easy time. My heart [red heart emoji] goes out to you.”

Another user @whiteneck81 echoed: “Sorry for your loss. I dread the day I lose my buddy,” while @SilverWeb17 offered their kinds words of support, writing: “Oh no.. I’m so sorry for your loss.. it’s so hard to lose our dog family members..

You gave them a great life and I’m sure they knew that, and you’ll see them again one day..” they added.

Paige’s sad loss comes after she admitted that she has no plans to swap out risque wardrobe choices for the green despite getting flack from traditionalist players.

Known for her head-turning outfits, such as low-cut tops and extreme mini-shorts, Paige stands boldly in contrast to the usual golf clobber.

She shrugged off the criticism during a chat with the Daily Mail, explaining: “I grew up playing on public golf courses where guys were wearing cut-off jean shorts and tank tops.
