Kate Middleton’s next public appearance revealed after Prince William opened up about cancer battle
Kate Middleton will be making an appearance on Remembrance Sunday, Buckingham Palace has announced.
The Princess of Wales is set to attend both the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph and the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday. It comes as she’s making a slow return to public duties after completing her cancer treatment.
The Prince of Wales also reassured fans that Kate is “doing really well” and said she has been “amazing” throughout her chemotherapy treatment. William told those who had gathered to see him: “She’s doing really well thanks. And hopefully she is watching tonight. Cheering me on. She’s been amazing this whole this whole year. I know she will be really keen to see tonight be a success.”
Princess Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis in March as she told fans she was “well and getting stronger every day.” The Princess of Wales had first been admitted to hospital on January 16 for planned abdominal surgery.
The Palace said at the time that the surgery had been “successful” and confirmed that her medical issue was non-cancerous. It was only in post-operative tests that it was revealed she had cancer.
