In the Netherlands, no one would give a dozen million euros for such a Modera, and for English clubs it is a penny.

Moder is very strong physically. Despite the lack of regular play, he was able to win several duels. This was already seen in the match with Sparta, where he presented himself better.

The Dutch league is cool, but it’s not a top game. Many representatives of Poland fell into the pit. Several failed transfers resulted in the fact that the players fled to Turkey or the second Bundesliga. There are no players who play in the strongest leagues in Europe, someone like Lewandowski and Szczęsny. Apart from them, we do not have such a success story in the strongest leagues.

Mówię to z bólem, bo też jestem Polakiem, ale ekipa Probierza jest fatalnie oceniania w Holandii.

A to wina trenera? Powinno się zmienić Michała Probierza?

Z jednej strony to on powinien wybrać piłkarzy w najlepszej formie. Chce trochę się wyróżnić, pokazać, że jest inny, że wprowadzi coś nowego. Było widać na Euro i w ostatnich meczach, gdzie jest reprezentacja Polski. Nie pamiętam, kiedy ostatnio kadra zagrała dobrze przez całe 90 minut.

Dużo jest kombinowania, brakuje stabilności. Skończył się czas, gdzie Lewandowski ciągnął kadrę swoimi bramkami. Ten gorszy okres też mieliśmy w Holandii ostatnio, w Hiszpanii czy Niemczech. Niestety w Polsce częściej te okresy są fatalne i tych dobrych momentów nie ma zbyt dużo.

Wróćmy jednak do Feyenoordu, który w środę zagra w Lidze Mistrzów z Milanem. Czy holenderski klub ma jakieś szanse na zwycięstwo? Moder odegra rolę w tym spotkaniu?

Polak będzie raczej grał w podstawowym składzie. Milan to jest jednak inny poziom, a Feyenoord ostatnio jest bez formy. Brakuje napastnika, jest sporo kontuzji. W meczu z PSV w Pucharze brakowało dziewięciu piłkarzy. Trwają wewnętrzne wojenki na linii trener – asystent – kibice. Atmosfera jest fatalna. Może jednak zadziała magia stadionu w Rotterdamie i kibice, których ponad 5 tysięcy pojedzie do Mediolanu na rewanż. Pamiętajmy, że w tym sezonie wygrali z Bayernem, mimo że grali dramatycznie w lidze.

To jak widzisz przyszłość Modera w Feyenoordzie?

Przyszłość Kuby wygląda pozytywnie. Feyenoord będzie musiał sprzedać latem swojego kapitana Quintena Timbera. Drużyna z Rotterdamu będzie miała mniejszy budżet o 30-40 milionów euro i będzie musiała się kogoś pozbyć. W Holandii rachunek finansowy jest prowadzony jak zwykły biznes. Trzeba zarobić albo przynajmniej wyjść na zero. Nikt nie będzie do Feyenoordu dokładał. Kuba będzie naturalnym następcą Timbera i nie zdziwiłbym się nawet, jakby przejął opaskę kapitana.
