Skrzyszowska w Ostrawie zainaugurowała sezon w swojej koronnej konkurencji, bo w styczniu w Łodzi biegała na płaskim dystansie 60 m. Piąta zawodniczka mistrzostw świata w Tokio już w eliminacjach uzyskała 7,78 i przewodzi światowym tabelom. Polka zdeklasowała rywalki w biegu eliminacyjnym.
O godzinie 18,23 pobiegnie w finale mityngu, gdzie będzie starała się zbliżyć do swojego rekordu Polski z ubiegłego roku (7,74). Do finału awansowała też Alicja Sielska z wynikiem 8,12.
Wcześniej do finału biegu na 60 m ppł zakwalifikowali się Jakub Szymański i Damian Czykier. Pierwszy wygrał swoją serię czasem 7,57, a Czykier był drugi w swoim biegu eliminacyjnym czasem 7,69. Obaj mają już minima na halowe mistrzostwa świata w Toruniu (20-22 marca).
