Erin Andrews shared an emotional moment with her good friend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, after a demoralizing Super Bowl loss.

In the latest installment of the ‘Calm Down’ podcast with Charissa Thompson, Andrews detailed how she approached Kelce by the suites following the Philadelphia Eagles‘ defensive showcase in New Orleans.

The shot that they have of him coming out of the locker room, and now we know he was going up to the suite — I didn’t, I was actually coming off the field and he was just walking out,’ Andrews said, citing footage shared by Entertainment Tonight.

And I was like f*** it, and I just turned around and I walked up to him because I was like I don’t want to bug him but I was like, ‘No, that’s our friend and this really sucks.’

‘And I just walked up to him and he stopped and I gave him a big hug and I was just like ‘I’m so sorry, I love you, I’m so sorry.’ They’re humans too, you know,’ she continued.

Andrews and Kelce have been friends for years with the tight end previously praising the sideline reporter for championing his relationship with Taylor Swift.

Philadelphia held Kelce to four receptions out of six targets and a paltry 39 yards. They also sacked quarterback Patrick Mahomes six times in the defensive masterpiece.

The 35-year-old’s future remains uncertain as rumors of retirement hover over his offseason. In the latest installment of the New Heights podcast, the three-time Super Bowl champion addressed the whispers.

‘I’m gonna take some time to figure it out,’ said Kelce. ‘And I think I owe it to my teammates that if I do come back that it’s gonna be a wholehearted decision and I’m not half-a**ing it, and I’m fully here for them.

‘I think I can play, it’s just whether or not I’m motivated or it’s the best decision for me as a man, as a human, as a person to take on all that responsibility.’
