Travis Kelce won’t take bait on questions hinting at Taylor Swift proposal

Travis Kelce wasn’t giving any potential engagement hints during a press conference on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters before Sunday’s Super Bowl 2025 against the Eagles, Kelce was pressed with questions about jewelry as rumors of a potential marriage proposal to girlfriend and music icon Taylor Swift loom ahead of the Big Game.

“Yeah, why not?” Kelce said when asked by a reporter if diamonds were a good investment. “I mean, these Super Bowl rings are filled with them, so yeah.”

Kelce then once again sidestepped a follow-up question on if he was in the market for a diamond.

“I like earrings, I like necklaces, stuff like that,” he said.

The latest probe into the Kelce-Swift relationship comes just two days after the Chiefs tight end was peppered with questions about a possible engagement during another media availability.

“Wouldn’t you like to know,” Kelce said with a smile when asked on Monday if he planned to propose to Swift.

The couple’s relationship, which has been going strong for nearly two years, has been a hot topic in New Orleans with Kansas City in the Super Bowl once again.
